An 86-year-old international jewelry thief was back in court on Tuesday, this time facing charges of allegedly stealing about $80 worth of items from a Walmart store in Chamblee, Georgia.

Doris Payne was caught pocketing items from the pharmacy, electronics and grocery departments at the store on Monday, according to a police report obtained by local media.

NBC says the famed thief who was the subject of a 2013 documentary, “The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne,” was charged with shoplifting, a misdemeanor, and was released on a $607 bond.

The documentary film chronicled Payne’s more than 60-year, $2 million career as a jewelry thief and how she “managed to jet-set her way into any Cartier or Tiffany’s from Monte Carlo to Japan and walk out with small fortunes,” according to the film’s website.

NBC reports Payne was arrested while wearing an ankle monitor that was placed there by her probation officer and that she was in court less than four months ago for shoplifting a necklace worth nearly $2000 last December.

In 2013, Payne was charged with stealing a $22,500 diamond-encrusted ring from a California jewelry store.

After her arrest, a judge initially refused to release her on bond, noting that Payne had previously listed her occupation on court records as “jewelry thief,” the Los Angeles Times reported.
