The Nasarawa state chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Philips Shekwo has charged women in the state to support the policies and programmes of the government and enable it to succeed.

The chairman made this known during an interactive session with APC women.

According to him, the interactive session was to bring the women together to share their common experiences as well as enable him to clear some doubts in their minds about the APC led government in the state.

He called on the women to be patient with the outlook of things and to rally round the achievements of the APC government in rural communities.

He said that “the governor has a good plan for women in the state. I urge you to avoid tarnishing the image of your leaders rather you should pray for them to succeed in all ramifications”

“Women play a vital role in every aspect of life especially in politics so I use this medium to call on politicians to involve them in policy making”

The meeting had in attendance local government APC officials and women leaders from various electoral wards.
