The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says the cases of road accident in the country within the first half of this year have reduced by two thousand, eight hundred and fifty one (2851) when compared to that of last year. The Chief Executive of FRSC, Osita Chidoka at the review of the half year operational activities, said that between the first half of last year, the country recorded five thousand five hundred and sixty (5,560) accident cases and two thousand, seven hundred and nine (2709) cases within first half of this year.
Corps Marshal Chidoka noted that crash involving trucks, trailers and mini buses along Katsina- Kano road, Jos-Bauchi and other four major roads have been a major challenge which the corps has started tackling.
