The Eko Atlantic city! A planned city with seven districts will be developed on land reclaimed from the Atlantic ocean. The emergence of the city is expected to relieve the pressure on the increasing population of Lagos State. But Environmentalists are asking for cautions.

    There is no doubt that Lagos government is at peak of its developmental agenda. But rather than cover up the sea considering global environmental challenges the planet is faced with, I would advice the government to channel the planned resources to badagry location.

    Pls d plan should b stopd bcos d nature as away of reclaiming what belong 2it. There are alot of unused land along ikrd,imota,agbowa,epe etc y cant they turn them 2 cities afterall d so-called cities of 2day were once villages?.think of d future pls.
