Ribadu lied; Oronsaye attended committee meetings – Ogunkunle

A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants, Ademola Ogunkunle on Thursday said, contrary to the allegations of the Chairman of the Petroleum Revenue Task force, Nuhu Ribadu that Steve Oronsaye never attended the panel’s meetings; that the former head of civil service attended four of eight meetings.

Speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s breakfast programme, Sunrise Daily, Mr Ogunkunle said he was privy to the minutes of the 26-man committee and that Mr Oronsaye’s name appeared on the attendance register of four of the panel’s meeting.

There was a faceoff between Mr Ribadu and Oronsaye during the presentation of the committee’s report to President Goodluck Jonathan with the former accusing the latter of not participating in the panel’s work.

Mr Oronsaye also disclaimed the report presented by Mr Ribadu insisting that the figures in the report were not verified.

    Ogunkule is tribalising the issue as usual. Oronanye is not dead. Ogunkunle did not identified himself as a member of the committee. How did he get the attendance register if not that  a mole leaked it to him. Tribe supporting each other against the state! Nigeria country in action.

      the stupid man is just insane, orosanye is not a yoruba man, he must have paid him to say this, remember he has just bn appointed to the NNPC board, useless old man, u shall not know peace as u guys are bent on destroying nigeria.

    mr ogunkunle is just a rogue, u said oronsaye attended the committe meetings 4 times out of the 8 times that they sat and u are saying ribadu is not right to say the guy never showed up, u are one of those who are making pple to refer to the yoruba pple as traitors, how much did he pay u to say this? oronsaye we were made to know flew in to nigeria the same day the report was to be submitted and u cam on air to say this, may u naver witness peace in ur life, all of you guys who are bent on destroying nigeria will never see peace, stupid old man.

    You see this man Ogunkunle… he is very similar to Gov. Fashola, and if you are stupid enough to believe Gov. Fashola hook, line and sinker every time, you should believe this man right now.

    If you don’t understand my point please take a good look at both men. They exert great care in their physical appearance, to appeal to petty stereo-type. They portray angels that know exactly what they are saying, like they are not capable of greed, avarice, vanity or narcissism…  they impersonate altruism, wheres they don’t give a damn.

    They take advantage of national ignorance, by representing facts falsely… (I am short of the right expression to describe an act of lying that is worse than telling lies) while appearing Angelic.

    It is on record that Ribadu said that Orosanye started attending meetings towards the end of their work, appearing from no where, to bully the members into reporting something different. Doesn’t the second half of 8 meetings signify the beginning of the end of the entire work duration…? Isn’t Ribadu right to say Orosanye came at the end..? And I beg your pardon, A committee was given an assignment and two of the members absconded during the first half of their task, why are they not on trial here…? Why Ribadu…?
