The Kisai has launched its Intoxicated Watch, a breathalyser wristwatch which passes as the debut of the company on Tokyoflash.

The wristwatch which is targeted at drinkers of different level whether social drinker or higher is aimed at checking individuals in case you’re not sure what level of drunk you’ve achieved.

The watch has a built-in breathalyzer and all you need if you want to know your level drunkenness it to simply open the sensor cap, push a button and blow air into it for 5 seconds.

A display on the watch gives your blood alcohol content level. If you blow a 0.61 per cent or above, the display registers as red to indicate you’ve had too much. A green display means your BAC is low. A yellow display indicates a BAC between 0.41 and 0.60 per cent.

You also can find a sobriety game  which serves as a sobriety indicator in another sense as the game challenges the individual to position a moving line in the dead center of the watch display and where you can’t get it right, then you are drunk and it’s time to go home.

The Intoxicated Watch is rechargeable and can last up to a month before needing to be powered up again.

The watch makers, Kisai however has absolved themselves of any liability with a print that is done on the watch saying the watch is designed purely for entertainment  and the results achieved herewith from its breathalyzer is not guaranteed to be accurate therefore it does not accept any responsibility for consequences arising from its use.

It warned after all “Please remember, do not drink and drive under any circumstance.”
