The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has appealed for caution and patience on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway as construction workhas begun on the road which serves as a major link between Lagos and other parts of the country.

The FRSC warned drivers plying the expressway to do so with extra care, especially at Luboro junction, opposite the Redeemed Christian Church main gate as the Mowe Unit Command of the FRSC hinted that road rehabilitation along that region is being focused due to its being in a very bad state and has resulted in a heavy traffic gridlock between the Catholic Church turning and the car park for road users.

Though the Corps has deployed its personnel from Mowe and Sagamu Unit Commands for intensive traffic control and monitoring along this route, motorists are equally enjoined to drive with caution in order to ensure seamless flow of traffic as the construction work continues.
