A social commentator, Segun Sango has said that Nigerians need a platform where they can have real dialogue, stating that there is no law backing the committee that has been set up by President Goodluck Jonathan, for the National Conference, which may have no outcome at the end.
Speaking on Channels Television Saturday breakfast programme, Sunrise, Mr. Sango faulted how long it would take the National Assembly to implement the decision taken by the committee for the National Conference.
He mentioned that he doesn’t have trust in what President Goodluck Jonathan is trying to do concerning the National Conference; adding that there are other important issues that need urgent attention such as, education, electricity, infrastructural development amongst others before venturing into National conference.
He stated that Nigerians need a forum for genuine discussion.
