The All Progressives Congress in Imo State has called on the youths to embrace the party ahead of the 2015 general elections in order to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

The party said that it has earmarked series of projects that the youths will benefit from in the year 2014.

While addressing over 5,000 youths at a sensitisation rally in Obowo Local Government Area, an APC chieftain in the state and Imo State Commissioner for Finance, Chike Okafor, enjoined them to be part of the wind of change that is blowing across the nation which the APC has initiated.

He maintained that the party had cut out a manifesto programmed towards youth empowerment, job creation and qualitative education for the Nigerian youths.

“Support Governor Rochas Okorocha, who, incidentally, is the Chairman the APC Governors Forum. It is worthy of note that the Okorocha led administration is ready to consolidate on the projects and policies which has been instituted since his two years in office,” Mr Ibe said.

Governor Okorocha was elected under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, but defected to the APC in 2013.
