Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan, has held a closed door meeting with the governors of the south west in the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Only the governor of Oyo State was absent at the meeting which lasted for about an hour on Tuesday.
The Governors of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Osun State, Engeneer Rauf Aregbeshola, and Ogun State, Senator Ibukun Amosun were present at the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the governors present refused to disclose the discussions at the meeting.
however, Fashola, Dr Fayemi and Senator Amosun told reporters that the meeting was about some national issues that concern the people of the south west.
