Ayotunde Balogun, News Presenter

Ayotunde Balogun is a newscaster, presenter and reporter for Channels Television. Though born and raised in Lagos, Ayo hails from Ondo State and he got his education in the both Lagos and Ibadan, Oyo State.

His passion and desire to make a name for himself in the news industry has never been in doubt. During his university education, Ayo volunteered to work as a pioneer trainee broadcaster at UNILAG Radio 103.1 FM, where he was one of the first talk-show, music presenter and newscaster. He graduated in 2007 with a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

The passion-driven newsman joined Channels Television in March 2010, fulfilling his dream of working with one of the best television stations in Nigeria. He continues to contribute to the station’s target of setting enviable high standard in Broadcast Journalism.

Ayo is an anchor on Newstrack and the flagship News At Ten;. On Saturday nights, Ayo also presents Newsround, bringing you a recap of stories that made weekday headlines.

Personal details about the presenter – Ayotunde loves life, enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, listening to good music, watching interesting movies and reading books. He also travels to fun spots, plays basketball and is a fan of tasty Nigerian dishes.
