Minister of Interior; Mr Abba Moro who paid a visit to the victims told journalist that twenty-one out of the twenty-three victims are responding to treatment, while the other two in intensive care unit are in stable condition.

Mr. Moro who prevented camera from going into the various wards also said that government is doing all it can to ensure that the survivors are given the best of medical care.

Also speaking on his visit to the Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, Mr. Moro who admitted the poor state of facility in the hospital said government will respond very quickly to the needs of the hospital, he however added that the victims taken to the hospital are being given the best of care.

He added that government will not rest on its oars until all the victims are well and that the government is ready to evacuate victims should the need arise.

Worshippers at the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church were on Christmas day thrown into confusion and mourning when a bomb exploded near the church premises killing about twenty- five persons and injuring several, in an incident that the Islamic fundamentalist sect ,Boko Haram claimed responsibility
