Striker for Uruguay and Liverpool; Luis Suarez who has been in the news recently for the wrong reasons has been given a one-match ban with immediate effect and this means that he wont be lacing boots against Newcastle in Liverpool’s EPL game.

Suarez who was also been fined 20,000 pounds by the English FA for his offensive gesture to fans of Fulham after losing to their hosts earlier this month is not pleased with the decision after he admitted to the allegation.

Liverpool were also fined 20,000 pounds on Wednesday and warned as to their future conduct by the FA after their players surrounded referee Kevin Friend who had sent off Jay Spearing in the second half of the same match with Fulham.

Any Carroll will now have the begging chance to make the first team against his former club; Newcastle who already scored 3 goals in 19 appearances in Anfield since joining as record signing.

Luis Suarez’s 8-match ban is still pending as Liverpool has requested to appeal the judgement after it was claimed that he made racist comments while Liverpool played Manchester united.

Liverpool will go into the match in sixth position with 31 points, one ahead of Newcastle.
