The Nigeria Labour Congress is insisting that the Labour Union will not hold any dialogue with the Federal Government until the price of petrol reverts to 65 naira per litre.

A statement signed by the acting general secretary of NLC, Owei Lakemfa said that the congress is busy mobilising its members for the January the 9th mass action and described reports of a dialogue with the Federal Government as untrue.

The Congress urged Nigerians to ignore such reports and remain focused and committed to the general strikes on Monday.

The statement also denounced reports that the fuel subsidy protests across the country are funded by oil marketers.
