Mayhem broke out this evening in the Ibafo Area along the Lagos Ibadan expressway, following a clash between the police and a group of people.
One man has been confirmed dead.
Accordinfg to an eye witness account, the victim was in a 14-seater bus en route Ibafo when he was hit by the bullet from a policeman said to have been shooting randomly.
Channels Television crew who arrived at the scene were immediately driven away by the policemen who eventually took the corpse away to Ibafo police station while still firing in the air. Photos of the scene below, by Channels TV.
