A meeting between the Federal Government and members of the nation’s major labour unions has ended in a deadlock, with the FG insisting on the removal of subsidy and Labour insisting on “N65 or a revolution!”
The meeting convened by the House of Ad-Hoc committee, headed by representative Patric Ikharaile is to continue on Thursday at 5:30 pm in the evening.
Chairman of the Ad-hoc committee says both parties are closer to reaching an understanding. President of the NLC, Abdulwaheed Omar said no agreement has been reached, however, adding that the strike action will continue on Thursday.
More to come on the story.
