Justice Babatunde Adejumo of the NIC therefore asked the federal government to fully comply with the court’s directive by ordering substituted service on the NLC in three Nigerian newspapers.

Justice Adejumo further ordered a legal practitioner, Fred Agbaje who allegedly described the January 6th order as a black market injunction, to appear before it alongside the reporter and editor of the published newspaper.

Counsel to the federal government, Mr. Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN described their absence as a flagrant disregard for the law and advised the union not to seize the grip of anarchy.

The court has fixed hearing for the motion on notice to the 16th of January, 2012.
