Cameroonian Striker; Samuel Eto’o has said he will be staying at his Russian Club;Anzhi Makhachkala until his contract ends.

He also said he is enjoying his time at the club,he said this while in Dubai with his club where the team went for a friendly match against the Iraqi olympic team.

The Cameroon international moved to Anzhi in August last year from Inter Milan in a three-year deal that pays him in the region of 20 million euros a year, making him one of the highest paid soccer players in the world.

Eto’o moved to dismiss rumours that he was unhappy at Anzhi.

“I received a very good offer so I decided to go to Anzhi five months ago and I am very happy there, some people trying to say I am not happy there but that is absolutely not true, I am very happy and I love the club,” he said.

Eto’o is currently serving an eight-month ban from the Cameroon national side after leading players in strike action due to the alleged late payment of appearance fees.
