LABOUR RALLY

After a week of the strike action in protest of the Federal Government’s deregulation policy, the Labour Unions have eased up the pressure, with a suspension of rallies and public protests.

LABOUR RALLY

This was made known by the President of the Nigerian Labour Congress Comrade Abdulwaheed Omar after a labour meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja late on Sunday night.

The strike will however continue, with labour urging citizens to stay at home while negotiations last.

According to comrade Omar, labour is making the concession following reports of serious security concerns
He however said labour will work with the Alfa Belgore Committee to come up with an acceptable pump price for petrol.
