In bid to stop blood shed in Syria,China has called on President Bashir Al-Assad of the Syria to work hand in hand with the Arab observer mission so as for peace to reign again in the country.
Liu Weimin, the Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson spoke to journalists at a news briefing saying “China supports the Arab League in solving the Syrian problem and the Arab League’s push in finding a solution, in their constructive efforts. China hopes that the Arab Observe Mission will continue to perform their duty together with the relevant parties involved and reach an appropriate solution”.
Before Liu Weimin’s comment,Wen Jiabao the Chinese Premier during his visit to Saudi Arabia called for an end to violence against civilians and expressed support for change in Arab world on Sunday
U.N. officials said more than 5,000 people have been killed in the violence across Syria.
China and India are in agreement on the border dispute during Chinese State Councillor Dai Bingguo’s travel to India for the 15th round of border talks.
