Demi Moore has decided to seek professional help after checking into the treatment facility and pulling out of her role in the upcoming biopic Linda Lovelace where she was to play feminist Gloria Steinem.
The Ghost actress who was hospitalised for exhaustion and health problems on Monday was said to be stressed as she continually lost weight plus looking really frail in the space of three months after her split from her husband Ashton Kutcher in November 11 after six years together..
According to TMZ.com, her spokesperson said, “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”
After a role in the soap opera General Hospital, Moore established her career in films such as St. Elmo’s Fire and became one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood with her successes in Ghost, A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal (1993), and Disclosure (1994).
Moore took her professional name from her first husband, musician Freddy Moore and she is the mother of three daughters from her second marriage to actor Bruce Willis.
She married her third husband, actor Ashton Kutcher in 2005.
