What is stroke?

Stroke is when one part shuts down either due to loss of blood supply, caused by a blockage that stops the flow of blood or due to leakage caused by a hemorrhage.

Researchers have examined how consumption of foods containing different classes of flavonoids affect the risk of stroke.

Flavonoids are group of compounds found in fruits, vegetables or red wine.

They also provide protection against stroke by improving the blood vessel function and reducing it against inflammation .
