The Oyo state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has charged the public to freely integrate to bring love and fresh ideas for progressive and responsible governance to his administration.

Gov.Ajimobi made the statement at Iwajoba local government in the Oke Ogun axis of the state while receiving decamped members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Accord Party, and Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) parties into the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

In his address which was delivered at Iwere ile, the headquarters of Iwajowa local government by his deputy Mr. Moses Adeyemo, Ajimobi urged the decamped members to come up with fresh ideas that will not only promote unity within the ACN but ultimately elevate the entire state.
Spokesman for the decamped members, Alh. Olayanju Moshood who decamped from the PDP said it was the track record of Gov. AjimobI since he became the chief executive of the state and the peace inherent in the ACN that lured them to the party.

The deputy governor could not hide his joy as he danced freely with members of the Iwere Ile community in Iwajowa local government of the state.

In his welcome address to the representatives of the decamped members, Mr Moses Adeyemo, was elated that despite the fact that Ajimobi led administration has not spent 1yr in office, people feel convinced enough to leave their various parties for the ACN.

He charged them to do all possible to ensure that they contribute to stronger ties within the party and more people based policies from the government.

The chairman, Iwajowa local government, Hon. Salami Tajudeen Olawale said most of the decamped members who approached him lauded the youth empowerment scheme and

provision of basic amenities. Olawale added that the on-going free health mission of the government also contributed largely to the decision taken from by the decamped members as most of them benefited despite the fact that they did not belong to the ACN at the time.

The decampees were received at IwereIile and Iganna both in Iwajowa Local Government and according to the caretaker chairman a total of 1,964 people decamped from the PDP,Accord

,and the CPC to the ACN.
