I still talk to my mum – Bobbi Kristina Houston
Bobbi Kristina, the 19 year old daughter of the ‘I Will Always Love You’ singer, says she still talks to her mom and believes she is still around.
In her words, ”I feel her pass through me all the time, lights turn on and off and I’m like, Mom, what are you doing? I can still laugh with her and still talk to her.”
Kristina stated this in a Sunday interview with Oprah Winfrey on Winfrey’s network, that also featured Pat Houston, the singer’s manager and sister-in-law, and Gary Houston, the brother of Whitney Houston.
Talking about their relationship, Kristina who aspires to carry on her mother’s legacy and become a singer, actress and dancer disclosed that she was always there to sooth her mum’s insecurities.
‘‘She would come to me and say, ‘Did Mommy do okay? Did I look okay?’ I’d say, ‘You’re beautiful. You’re fine. You’re perfect’’, she disclosed.
Kristina credited her family and God for helping her cope since her mother’s death on February 11 at the age of 48.
Meanwhile, there are claims that Kristina plans to change her name to lose her link to her father, Bobby Brown. The bereaved 19-year-old, who will inherit her late mum’s entire estate told friends she will become “Kristina Houston”. She is said to be upset that her singer dad left his ex-wife’s funeral following a disagreement over seating arrangements.
