Gunmen suspected to be Boko haram members have launched another attack in Kano by opening fire in one of the state’s checkpoints on Tuesday leaving two policemen and a soldier dead.
The spokesman for the joint military-police task force in the city, Lieutenant Iweha Ikedichi confirmed the attack saying that two policemen and one of the attackers were killed, while a soldier was wounded.
According to the Residents, the gunmen arrived on motorcycles and opened fire on the checkpoint.
