The Special Adviser to the Minister of Power; Mr. Sidon Adinuba was on ground to speak on the sudden shut down of the kainji Dam as power distribution was brought to a stand still.
The speacial Adviser who also confirmed that the dam is back and operational now also gave figures of what is being generated but also stated that the dam has been poorly maintained for it has not been overhauled since 1968 when it was built.
