The recently introduced guide procedure on cargo clearance by government has been cancelled by Nigerian Customs Service.
The new Assistant Comptroller General of Customs Zone ‘A’ which comprises Lagos and Ogun states, Mr Victor Gbemudu made this known today in Lagos at the maiden briefing with area comptrollers within the zone.
Mr Gbemudu charged importers to ensure accurate declaration and duty payment to avoid unnecessary delays.
