The Chairman of the ad hoc committee, Ibrahim El-Sudi who issued the order of summon following the failure of Ms Oteh to appear before the committee on Tuesday, said that the SEC boss displayed arrogance and disrespect for the parliament by not showing up for the hearing.
Ms Oteh had sent a letter addressed to the Chairman of the committee informing him of her inability to show up for the hearing because she was attending a function with President Goodluck Jonathan.
After reading the letter sent to the committee by the SEC boss, Mr El-Sudi visibly angry, immediately ordered Ms Oteh to appear before the committee on Wednesday or face sanctions.
