The Military Pensions Board on Friday denied claims that there are still pensioners on their pay roll that have not been receiving their entitlement since the bio-metric exercise began.
Parading Smiles Johnson, an alleged impersonator, who claimed not to have received his pension since 2007, the Chairman of the Military Pensions Board, who was represented by the Director Navy pensions, Commodore Babajide Oguntola, said the suspect was never enlisted in the Nigerian army as such does not have any entitlement.
He said a signal from the Lokoja depot where Mr Jackson claimed to have served indicates that the regimental number 63NA/66930 which he laid claim to belong to an ex-service man ,Corporal Nimzing Lliya who has been on the pay roll of the military pensions board since 1990.
Commodore Oguntola urged any aggrieved person to contact the military pensions board as all pensioners have now been captured in the bio-metric data of the board.
