The music world has again been thrown into mourning, as another music legend from the Bee Gees-trio, Robin Gibb has passed on at the age of 62.
The Bee Gees was one of the biggest selling pop groups of all time, and the group had Robin with his brother Maurice-who passed away in 2003-and Barry who is now the only surviving member of the band.
The late British star who has been battling with liver cancer.
Robin notched up dozens of hits with brothers Maurice and Barry during their music career that spanned more than half a century, selling over 200 million records.
The announcement of his death, has prompted an outpouring of grief from fans and fellow members in the music industry.
A statement released by the family stated that “The family of Robin Gibb, of the Bee Gees, announce with great sadness that Robin passed away following his long battle with cancer and intestinal surgery.
The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.
