The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Andrew Lloyd, has expressed optimism in Nigeria chances at the London 2012 Olympics.

Ander Lloyd, while hosting the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria in his office in Abuja, said Nigeria would not lack in support as there are about two million Nigerians residing in London who would be on ground to provide all the support needed to spur the team on.

“I know that Nigeria will do well at the London Olympic; in terms of support, your contingent will not be lacking as we all know that there are about two million Nigerians residing in London and that is more than enough support for a country.” Lloyd said
