Persons suspected to be kidnappers have allegedly abducted Mr. Markson Macaulay, son of the Secretary to Delta State Government (SSG), Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay. According to Charles Muka, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the Delta state Police Command, the kidnapped son of the SSG, aged 28 was abducted at about 09: 00am on Monday while he was driving to his hometown, Owhelogbo in Isoko North local government area from Asaba.
Mr. Muka who said the whereabouts of Mr. Markson Macaulay is still unknown, disclosed that three of the suspects have been arrested by the police who moved in swiftly after they were contacted about the incident, adding that the police is still trailing other members of the gang.
He said those arrested have also made useful information to the police.
