Pussycat Dolls duo Nicole Scherzinger, has confirmed that she will be replacing ex- Destiny’s child duo Kelly Rowland as the new judge in the fourth coming show X-Factor UK.

This was confirmed by the director of ITV Peter Fincham, who described Nicole as a wealth of experience, as a solo artiste and as a member of a group.

He further added, “We are delighted that she will be joining us for this year’s series”.

The 33 year old singer with so much excitement spoke about her new role, ‘I’m so excited to join the UK X-Factor family. It’s where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle.

‘I can’t wait to see what talent the UK has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists.’
Nicole will begin her full-time judging role when the auditions hit Newcastle on Monday.

X Factor producers were left searching for a new judge after Dannii Minogue turned down a £1 million deal to return to the show after they axed Kelly Rowland.

Miss Scherzinger was originally hired as a co-host for the X Factor USA, which debuted in the States last year, alongside Steve Jones.
