The Ekiti state governor has denied the rumours of sacking some principals that failed the examinations conducted for teachers last year.
Governor Fayemi stressed that the teachers’ development assessment programme is to improve the education sector which the state is renowned for.
He also emphasized that rather than sack the teachers, most of them have been elevated but others have been encouraged to give their best to raise the standard of education.
