An end to the crisis rocking the Ogun state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), may not be in sight as the state congress committee which monitored the August 4th congress of a faction in the state has ordered a re-run.

The Ibrahim Bamalli committee in its report to the National Working Committee of the party, passed a vote of no confidence on the exercise, saying it lacked the principle of internal democracy and a clear departure from the party’s constitution.

The report therefore called for a re-run of the congress to accommodate all other factions of the party in the state.

The meeting was called by the elders of the group which was led by Engineer Bayo Dayo to hint members on the latest development, especially the report on the state congress by Bamalli’s committee. which described the state congress, a nullity.

Meanwhile Engineer Bayo’s faction of the party in the state at a rally held in Ijebu Igbo openly accused the former president, the national auditor of the party and the national secretary of the party as the brains behind the current crisis that has polarized the party.
