The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been advised to take a firm stance on the activities of the Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria for the political development of Nigeria.
Speaking at a meeting in Abuja, some members of the council said the electoral body should intervene to stop the council from drifting into a crisis.
They said the need to ensure that political parties in the country have a united front that will aid the peaceful conduct of elections in the country is more important than ever before.
