The minority leader in the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila on Wednesday said that not all those listed on the National honours list are qualified to be so listed.
Speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s morning programme, Mr Gbajabiamila said the list recently released by the presidency contained people with ‘suspicious characters’, ‘people without integrity’ and ‘good men and women’.
The minority leader, who was nominated last year but turned down the award, said the reason why he declined was because he felt he had not reached the achievement bar which he sees as a prerequisite for such award.
