In a bid to reduce the frequent amendment to the Nigerian constitution, the director general of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS), Professor Epihphany Azinge, has advocated the need for contributions by intellectuals and members of the academia.

Speaking in Abuja at a one day constitutionalist’s conversation forum organised by the institute, Professor Azinge stressed the need for a holistic contribution of all Nigerians in order to address some of the issues such as federalism, devolution of power, state creation and police among many other issues.

Also speaking at the occasion, former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Adetokunbo Kayode says the federal government is burdened with issues that should be left in the domain of states.
