The Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen on Tuesday officially declared open all sections of the Third Mainland Bridge ready for use.
Mr Onolememen said repair works on eight expansion joints have been completed.
According to the Minister, the repairs were completed 10 days ahead of the scheduled date of November 5.
He said there was no variation in the contract sum of N1, 055,477,608.16.
Motorist and Commuters, who have had to manage diversions and traffic congestions since the repairs started on July 6, will be relieved as more lanes will now be available to them.
The contractor that handled the repairs, Messrs Borini Prono Coy Ltd also confirmed that the work is 100 per cent completed.
