Jefferey Hawkins, the US Consular General in Lagos has claimed that the history of presidential elections in the United States, has never witnessed the kind of energy it got in the re-election of President Barack Obama, as the 44th president of the country.
The Consular who appeared as a guest on the special edition of Sunrise Daily after President Barack Obama’s victory speech, stated that the American Democracy is thriving because it is not an issue of the winner takes it all but everyone will be on board to make the running of the country smooth.
