Edo state Governor; Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has inaugurated the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission with a charge to conduct credible free and fair elections in 2013.
Addressing members of the commission after the inauguration at the Weekend, the Governor urged the state commission to be conscious of the high expectation of the people as regards credible polls and ensure that they do not betray the trust reposed on them.
The Chairman of the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission; Solomon Ogor in his response thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve, promising that they will not betray the confidence reposed on them.
