The government of the state of Osun has stated that it has paid the sum of N656 million so far as compensation to persons whose properties were affected in the on-going road projects in Osogbo the state capital.
The governor said the money paid as compensation brings the total of those affected and who have produced legitimate claims or tittles of their property to 1,585 persons.
He called on others who have genuine proof of ownership of the demolished property or separated in the course of the Alekuwodo-Igbona-Kwara road rehabilitation to produce them for adequate evaluation and compensation by the government.
Mr Aregbesola also charged all workers in the state to be prepared to supplicate for the nation as instability in the nation affects the economic growth.
