The Ondo State Sector Commander of The Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC), Mary Wakawa has called on communities constructing bumps on roads to desist from the act as it creates hazards on the roads.

The FRSC Boss said this during an interview with newsmen in her office in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Mrs Wakawa further said the State Command beefed up activity during the last yuletide season which ensured reduction in road crashes by almost 95percent.

She noted that the major challenge of the sector is the attitude of motorists and other road users saying that the FRSC has put some strategies in place to address this and other challenges.

The FRSC Sector Commander however said that the State Command is in need of patrol vehicles, towing vehicles and ambulances to facilitate its operations.
