As part of the efforts to revolutionize the health sector in Oyo State, Governor Abiola Ajimobi has said that his administration would establish an ultra-modern diagnostic centre at the State Hospital, Ring Road, Ibadan to improve preventive interventions among children, women and the aged within the state.
The governor disclosed this while inaugurating the Florence Ajimobi Alaanu House, which provides shelter for families of patients on admission at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
The Oyo governor said that the diagnostic centre would boost health service in the state and complement the efforts of the UCH to prevent diseases and control them effectively when completed.
Mrs Florence Ajimobi in her address said the Alaanu house containing 16 rooms all en suite will provide succour for relatives of sick people who just hang around the premises of the hospital from day to day to tend to the wants of their loved ones on admission at the hospital.
