The Federal Executive Council says it will sanction any media organisation that is used anywhere in the country to incite the people especially northern Nigerians against polio vaccination.
The minister of health Dr Onyebuchi Chukwu said this while briefing state house correspondents after the presentation of his ministry’s score card in the past year.
The significance of the briefing according to him is that despite the challenges, the ministry achieved 90 per cent immunization coverage for polio in the country in the last year
He says security agencies have been detailed to provide adequate security to health workers and the clients to avoid a repeat of what happened in Kano.
