The Federal lawmaker from Oyo State made this known during an interactive session with journalists in Ibadan,  where she explained that though the Electoral Act addressed the issue of women contestants and voters, there must be adequate provision made in the constitution that enables women claim indigenes of areas of residence, contest, vote and be voted for.

In her address to women in the South West region under the PDP, she urged them to work harder and play their roles as peace makers among all factions and unite all members across the region to improve the chance of the party at electoral victory.
