The Federal Government has denied claims that the polio vaccines been used in the country are contaminated.
Minister of State for Health, Dr. Mohammed Patte told journalists in Abuja that more than 10 billion doses of the vaccine have been administered world over and have proven effective following the eradication of polio in most countries in the world.
Dr. Patte adds that there is no empirical evidence to substantiate claims that the vaccines are harmful and contaminated.
He urged Nigerians to ignore such claims and that the federal government is working assiduously to ensure that polio is completed eradicated from Nigeria.
