Merger Party Is Real – Buhari

Former Head of State, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), on Monday said the merger of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) is going to be real. 

Buhari, CPC candidate in 2011 presidential election, said this in Lagos during the presentation of a book, ‘Witness to History’, written by ACN’s National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed.

Present at the presentation were National Leader of ACN, Bola Tinubu; Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola; Niger Governor Babangida Aliyu; former Lagos Governor Lateef Jakande and book reviewer, Odia Ofiemun.

Others were former Minister of Federal Capital Territory Nasir el-Rufai; Yemi Osibanjo; Lagos Commissioner for Justice Femi Ipaye; Femi Gbajiabiamila; Abike Dabiri-Erewa and politicians from different political parties.
