Super Eagles striker Sunday Mba has been cleared and will make his Rangers debut this weekend at Angola’s Recreativo Libolo after the ownership controversy seem to have been resolved in national interest.

Mba is on the trip to Angola after rangers were able to reach an agreement with the player’s former club Warri Wolves because he is on “a national duty”.

The club have already agreed a fee of eight million naira for the transfer of goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim and this allowed the Eagles goalkeeper to make his debut against Recreativo in the goalless draw in Enugu.

‘The Flying Antelopes’ are the only surviving Nigerian club on the continent after Kano Pillars crashed out of the champions league and both Lobi Stars and Heartland were ousted from the CAF confederation  cup.

Sharks FC

Sharks FC Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote says he is thrilled with the performance of his side in their last two matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Ogunbote hopes these results could be the start of a resurgence that could see the club move out of the drop zone.

The Port Harcourt based side showed a lot of determination to come back from a goal down at half time to clinch a hard-fought victory over neighbours Bayelsa United in their week nine tie

Sharks have moved to 19th place on the log, swapping places with Wikki Tourists, who lost 0-3 to heartland on Sunday.
