Channels Television Sport Analyst Toyin Ibitoye has said that Victor Anichebe can be considered a suitable replacement for the injured Spartak Moscow and Super Eagles hit man, Emmanuel Emenike.

Emenike on Sunday returned to the treatment room after picking up an injury while playing for his club against Anzhi Machakala in the Russian league.

The analyst is however not optimistic that Anichebe would accept the offer since he has shown no interest in playing for the Nigerian national team again.

The absence of the Super Eagles’ hit man and the search for his replacement has placed a heavy burden on the shoulders of Coach Stephen Keshi, who is currently preparing his team for some ‘away’ matches in their campaign for a place in the coming World Cup competition.
